Black/Carbon Fiber Trunks

Why do people do this? It looks so ugly. Like your trunk is unpainted or damaged. Or you are too poor too afford a proper paint job and you got a black replacement panel.

Personal preference? If you wrap the roof and also include a carbon fiber hood then it looks completely different than just doing the trunk. IMO

Yea some people like the look. I like CF look, but you can definitely over do it.

Maybe you have some Japanese in your blood. It's considered very tacky to leave CF unpainted over there.

Honestly at first I didnt like it UNTIL I saw it in person then I was like whoaaaa that actually looks pretty damn sexy! Im not doing mine but I do have a WW X with a Black Spoiler! Always gets attention!

For the most part, I like cf parts painted, but I have to admit that when done right, bare cf looks pretty tight. Again, the color of the car makes the difference IMO.

I LOVE my carbon fiber duckbill trunk and my carbon fiber rear diffuser. If i do get a cf hood, i am going to paint it because i hate the cf hood look on the X. Cf front lip should just about do it for me
