EVO X SE badge / plaque .... feeler

(copied from evoforums.com - where I started this thread):
Hello fellow EVO X SE owners! I have been in contact with someone about making build plaques for our cars. I was thinking about getting a badge done for above the shifter, or the center console and one for the engine bay (probably one that would go on the radiator shroud). As stated in the thread title, this is only a feeler. I so far have found someone who would make these. This guy has made these for the 40th Anniversary Edition 370Z. Here is a sample of what he has done:

Here is the first sample / prototype image for the plaque. It needs a little tweaking, but is looking good so far. Let me know what you guys think. (Yes, I realize that there were only 340 SEs made, but this is only a sample for reference).

Also, if anyone has a receipt from the dealership, it has the your car's production date on it (mine do at least). This could also be added to the badge, if there was enough interest.

I kind of like this idea if they're reasonably inexpensive.

It should run about $40 + shipping for 1 engine bay badge and 1 interior badge.
Engine Bay - Gunmetal colored metal badge with heat resistive adhesive backing
Interior. - Gunmetal colored metal badge with heat resistive adhesive backing.
The engraving will be silver in color.

I am not trying to sell anything here. I just found someone to make these for people if they are interested. When everything is finalized, if someone wants to get one, they will have to contact the maker of these badges. I am just putting the info out there for those interested.

I think its a great idea!

Couple of things...

1. The build date is listed on the driver's door jamb.
2. Very interested in these.
3. Started looking into this a while back, but was OBE (including a blown SST)!
4. See attached badge from the Galant VR-4 for reference

5. Using (4), I came up with the attached concept art.

That's about as far as I got. Let me know if you need any help pushing this through.

I think maybe (still with a little tweaking), this should be used as the engine bay badge:

And I like this idea for the interior (Thanks Brez!):

Unfortunately, the guy who was supposed to make these for me backed out, and I haven't heard from him in months, even after repeated emails and texts. Sorry guys!!!

There's gotta be somewhere else that can engrave it!
