I'm getting ready to replace the head unit in my 2013. Has anyone used either kit? How close do the compare to the OEM? Any picture's

 

i just bought a 08 Evo Mr and it had a Metra kit and it was a HORRIBLE fit
so i bought the Scosche and it fits perfectly
i don't have a picture but ill try to upload one asap

 

I'm using the Scosche and it fits pretty good. I'll upload pics when I get home.

I hear awful things about Metra, but I've gotten two different scosche kits and both have gaps at the top

but I can live with it considering the JDM dash is a jump up to $250. sorry that's just too much for a plastic dash

Wow the scoshe looks awesome. do you have to replace the housing for it too (if thats what its called O.o the oem factory **** surrounding it).

EDIT: homework done. definitely considering now.
