Nope, hundreds of people now have full car wraps and after a year of use, it peels off with absolutely no damage underneath.

As stated above absolutely not. Like SRT said if you want real info not just your ruining your car BS from folks who likely never even used the product, head over to the site and forum he posted and you'll learn something.

Then you'll be able to tell and prove to the idiots that say you'll ruin your car otherwise

I believe GSR and SRT are correct. If you do some research you will come to the conclusion that Plasti Dip, if anything, preserves the paint on your car. I've never heard of that it has negative effects on the finish. What I have heard of is that about 70% of Paint and body shops, even performance oriented ones, have no clue what Plasti Dip even is. If they do, they've never heard of Dipping a whole car. At least in Tucson AZ that is. If they did, they'd prob make a lot more money dipping peoples cars. Zing !

I actually ordered the dip and gun seperately, since DipYourCar was out of stock in the clear, and the gun is cheaper on Amazon.

Got the gun today, dip comes on Friday, and the car is being dipped on Saturday!

There are dozens of How-To videos on youtube, especially from DipYourCar themselves. No need for another how-to, it's been gone over a hundred times.

Even though I've spent countless hours watching vids and reading up on spraying techniques, I'm still nervous to do my whole car. Very happy I went with the matte clear for my first full car dip, as it's a bit more forgiving from what I understand.

any updates? I'm pretty stoked to see how this turns out as I'll most likely recreate it if the results are similar to what I see in my head.
