Matte Clear Plasti-Dipped WW Evo X
ALL DONE! PICS ON PAGE 4!
Hey guys, so I finally went ahead and decided that I'm going to plastidip my whole car with the matte clear, to make it look "frosted white".
I ordered the ProKit with 4 gallons of clear, along with 4 gallons of black for future customers/jobs.
Can't wait to see how it turns out, here's the car as it sits:

I will keep this thread as a log of the process, and final results.
Stay tuned!

When are you spraying this beast? I was thinking about doing matte white to mine with a clear pd over it so it cleans better. But then I realized I'd just be doing it to preserve the original paint because it would look pretty similar to how it is. So I decided I'll just plasti dip my face!

The frosted look should be awesome, here's an example of a black car with the matte clear over it:

Thanks guys, appreciate the support.
Funny too, if I posted a thread that I was plasti-dipping my car about 1-2 years ago, people would laugh and say it's the dumbest thing they've heard. Plasti-dipping is really taking off, as it's a much better alternative to changing the look of your car than a wrap is (IMO). No sticky residue left behind, no rough edges where the wrap ends. Also if you get a tear in a wrap, you have to re-do the whole panel. With plasti-dip, you can fix it by thinning it and reapplying the dip to that specific area and voila, good as new.

Dipping my VIII this spring. Haven't decided on white or black as of yet. Can't wait to get it done though
