Congrats on ur new gsr !! Wish you all the best.

A still deciding between mr or gsr within 2-3 months, newbie on the forum.
Hoping for 400-500hp and the tranny got me very worried, been surfing the forum alot. Heard about the ssp but not sure, help preciated..

I had a conversation with Noize today. I can heel-toe with the best of the, but I feel like when I'm on the track it's distracting. I'd rather be left foot braking and using paddles than worrying about an extra pedal. It feels primitive to me now after spending 18 months with the MR and 18 months with the GSR. I really don't have any intention to upgrade the turbo. Beyond the bolt-ons the MR had, I really don't see a need to add power at the track. I feel comfortable with about 330-350whp. Anything beyond and I'd be kidding myself about using it all.
No doubt the MR was always faster for that very reason - you can totally focus just on driving and totally use your left foot solely for braking. Tracking for 18mos without a clutch pedal and then suddenly having to think about what gear to be in and when would definitely be an added distraction - anything added you have to think about while you're tracking would be
