Hello all,

As I was detailing my 2013 lancer evo today, I discovered that someone swiped my car... I called my dealership asking if my warranty existed for my exterior & cosmetic and it didn't exist.

What would be the best approach for this? I do not want to use my insurance because I will have to pay a deductible + it will go on my car's vehicle history.

Any advice or guidance is appreciated. Thanks.

Ouch sorry to hear. People just don't care. You should try contacting a professional detailer and a paintless dent removal service to see if it can be fixed up. If not you'd have to pay for a repair through a reputable body shop out of pocket...

I hope you're joking... If you think clay bar will take 99% of that off you need a lesson in detailing. I will 1000000000000% assure you clay bar will not fix that. It will likely need to be buffed and maybe even lightly wet sanded depending on how deep they are.. No matter what the panel is dented so it will never go away completely.

I would cry if that happened to my brand new car.
