To hold them in place. The part that goes in the hole is too small to hold them in place so I was just going to use epoxy or something.

You have to usually buy like 15 yards at a time. If you need some i can just pull a strip off and mail it to you. I have more than I could ever use!

This isn't an option in some states, unfortunately

My fix:

1. spray can of wicked white paint from http://www.automotivetouchup.com
2. 3 pack of securing buttons from advance auto
3. clearcoat from advance auto
4. gorilla glue to hold in place

buttons:

in place:

I could have made these look a lot better, but i was pressed for time. they are not perfect but they look WAY better than the holes!

I think I'm gonna go do this today. I took the plate off and there were black grommets in there that I left in. They looked better than big holes, but the painted plugs clearly look better.

you need some clear coat on those, or next time just order it as a single stage

I put three coats of clear on them. I'm not sure why the clear became so matte-like

looks really good, If I ever live in a state that doesn't require a front plate this is what I'm doing. Travesty they make us drill into our bumpers like that.
