Front license plate hole "fixes"

UPDATE:

WHAT I DID TO FIX: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/10831643-post38.html

I hate front plates, and PA doesn't require a front plate. Bought the car from a dealership and then removed the front plate bracket, but i'm left with these three ugly holes.

My idea is to get some round white vinyl stickers and put them over the holes... but im thinking just any white isn't going to match. Anyone else have a solution or post what you did to fix.

And I don't need to hear "just put the plate back on"! It ruins the best looking part of these cars

I've seen some people use some "plugs" from Home depot, but most of the time they are black and don't look that good..

I say go get some white vinyl.. Even if it doesn't match perfectly, it will look better that the holes..

Never ordered anything from here, but have seen a few people talk about this site on the forum.

I've used the BumperPlugs on a few different cars and while they are "expensive" for what you get they do a great job.

I would say just put it back on I have no idea what you mean by they cover the best part. What the left corner of the bumper? It covers nothing important and it's even slanted to divert air around the car. I even had people say the only way they could tell it was a evo is because the plate off to the side. It's the iconic evo symbol. Every one I meet asks about it and like it so I am not getting what you mean.

Put bonding putty in the hole then get touch up paint from the dealership and paint the putty problem fixed.

It could work or just buy a really cool aftermarket.

I've used plugs from home depot or a hardware store (I preferred plastic vs metal) then painted with a touch up pen and sprayed with a couple coats of clear. Worked out well.

It distracts from the overall lines of the front of the car, i am a designer so I am picky about looks/design... and when i look at the front with the plate bracket on there, I just can't stop looking at it, when the focus should be on the aggressive styling and contrast between the grill area and the rest of the front.

If you are lucky enough to get to use your front plate for something other than a mandatory State Plate you should consider a cool* plate like a 4B11 with Kanji

*Yes I understand my opinion of this being "cool" is now on the internet and I am ready to face the consequences of uttering an opinion online...

People keep bugging me to take the front plate off. It's illegal here but I really would love to get rid of it. Filling the holes would be a huge plus after the fact.

The only true way to fix them is to take it to a body ship and
have them fill them in and reprint. It's a pita.
