When I got my Evo, I was pretty surprised that for an almost $40K car, the shift boot looked to be from K-Mart. There's a ton of boots out there as "universal" and I'm good with that -- in fact there are some that I really like. But I wanted something that had some sort of Evo specific design to it and thankfully, to this forum, I checked out the Redline Goods boots.

I ordered the faux alcantara in black with red stitching -- yes, I know it doesn't match the stitching on the wheel but it looks good! -- and I figured I'd do the e-brake boot too. Unfortunately, I only took shift boot pics right now.

I got my mail this morning before I left for work and there were my boots! Sweet! Not wanting to wait until I got home, I went out during work to just tinker and well, swapped out the shift boot.

Process was simple and took me all of 5 minutes to do and makes a drastic change in the appearance.

Definitely a solid product and no, I don't care about the $10 you can receive off your purchase for posting a review...It genuinely is a solid buy. To prove it...REDLINE! DO NOT CONTACT ME FOR MY $10!!!

stock boot is probably the low point of the entire cabin...when I got my redline stuff I was pumped at how much better everything looks now!!!

Actually, I was racing some guy tonight named Torretto and when I beat him, I told him the only reason I didn't blow the welds on my manifold was because of my Redline Goods shift boot. He whined and stuff for a bit about winning and I was like, "Look...It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile...Winning is winning."
