Anyone purchased one of these? CARBONTRIX- 08+ Carbon Fiber Wing Delete Kit

Been wanting to remove the wing for a wile now. I know theirs like 1000 post about removal, but i couldn't find anything with this kit. Plugs are just bad looking. Im assuming its just adhesive to hold on the sides and lip? Trying to get some feedback.

Id send an email to them. It might be adhesive since its carbon but id just confirm with them.

absolutely, it deletes tall wings and covers the tall wing holes, still doesnt change the fact it looks aweful

 

Yeah, agree. But what would look better in your opinion? Plugs in the holes and a lip spoiler or that?

 

you could do the proper body work and weld a patch in??

 

for a little bit more, you could have the holes filled and painted.

you can trade with lancer owner for your trunk and cash.

buy cf? check lkq for a mint used one. watch ebay. I dont know, personally I'd love a non winged trunk, but this to me, is simply hideous

lol i appreciate everyone's feedback. It does look off putting. Prob either just wait and get a body shop to do or just save for duckbill trunk. They are pretty sexy.
