Evo X Repaint?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of repainting my PB Evo X, i'm leaning toward blue colors, i saw this estoril blue on this audi and thought it's looks really good and might work on the evo, what do you think?

There's also this dark blue, which i also love:

Isn't it cost few thousand dollars just to repaint the whole car?
If your orginal paint is blue than you only need to over spray exterior but if not then you'll paint the under the hood?

I do think it would cost around $1500-$2000, didn't get the quote yet, but yeah, had the car for 3 years and i'm thinking it's time to do this, it's either the dark blue or the lambo's Arancio Atlas color.

I've felt the same way about painting the whole car.

Either that's a really good deal or cheap paint...

unless that's your friend @ the shop, 1500-2000 is super cheap.
expect to pay upwards of 4500+ for a nice quality paint job
talking 4+ coats, and 2+ coats of clear. i was quoted 5500 for a complete
paint job on my crx back in the day and thats way smaller than the X

This. I would not want a 1-2K paint job on my Evo. A real paint job will be like 7-8K to do the whole Evo properly.

Or you can just trade in your PB evo for a Cosmic Blue one?

Yeah check out the cosmic blue thread to see how dark blue evos look. I posted mine in there. Good luck finding one if you do want to trade in though.
