SST shifter

I wanna make my SST shifter taller cause i just got a tommy kaira shift knob this week and it only fits for a GSR model.....does anybody have any idea what i can do to make it fit?!

Threading is the same on the SST and the manual. A tall knob makes it awkward to lift the collar getting out of park though.
