Ganador Mirrors Installed

Swapped out my truck mirrors for something a little more size-appropriate. The Ganadors retain the stock electronic controls, but with the smaller mirror, I've noticed a small reduction in Field of View. The range of motion also seems to be a bit limited (for example, I cannot tuck the right side mirror in enough to see the side of the car...at least not without craning my neck).

Overall, I like the look. I think it's an improvement and I'm glad I did it.

And from this morning (a bit gloomier weather) from above:

Not bad. Although I prefer the OEM mirrors myself.

I didn't realise Ganador did mirrors for the 10. I think they look great.

Look great!

As for not being able to see the side of your car, you shouldn't be able to see the side of your car if your mirrors are right. You want to see what's near your car, you know where your car is hopefully!

I like these, but I like the ones with the turn signal a bit more. Are these the carbon fiber ones?

No. They came unfinished and then I had them color matched.

I get that. (I'm 40, Sonny. I've got a couple days behind the wheel )

I guess I should have clarified that when I'm backing out of my garage, I have about 8" clearance on each side. I NEED to see the side of my car in THAT scenario. With the OEM mirrors, there is enough range to easily adjust them to where I need them. With the Ganadors, that option isn't there.

Make sense?

I suppose you can put those round curved mirror things on.

Nah...it's really no biggie. Just means I gotta stretch a bit more when I'm back up. Once I'm driving, there's enough range to point the mirror where it belongs--the blind spot.

I have to admit, my first reaction to the mirrors was that they're too small (the hippo analogy is great). After feeling like Goldilocks for a couple days, they've really "settled in" to my eyes...they look...perfect.
