Hey Rev glad to see your car build is coming around. I also wanted to get some AME's but switched to 57xtremes.

I went the same way from ETS and ordered a test pipe with cat and extra O2 bung, with a grimmspeed EBCS. Hopefully I'll have it tuned by this Saturday to see how well the increase is. Waiting on my a-pillar and gauges to come in so I can monitor boost/AF/and a aeroforce scan gauge for ST knock and EGT's

Be sure to do a stock/tuned comparison to show just how much those two parts do! And then link me to it here I really want to see.

So got my exhaust put on yesterday. Same as my STI had, Invidia N1 Race (no resonators or anything) and it sounds very deep with a lot of base tones. No test pipe yet so its relatively calm now, but its at least 8X louder than the stock exhaust. Maybe half as loud as my Subaru was. Pretty large amount of noise from just a CBE. Not 100% I like the tone, but it is an Evo so it's going to sound like a pissed off 4 banger which I need to get used to. I can already see myself trying out a load of different exhausts on this car until I find the combo I like.

I would agree. I actually have them on video, but the car is still long gone as it would be with any Evo stolen so deliberately out of the 5th floor of a gated garage. What's most bothering is how unsettling it is to have it stolen out of my condo garage. I thought the building would catch fire before that happened. The building has been there for 8-10 years and it's the first time that it has ever happened. There are MUCH nicer cars in there too (Porsche, BMW, Audi, Vette's, etc.)

In any case, insurance will cover it and I'll be getting a nice check to put down towards a new car. Strongly looking at 06' MR/SE's with low miles.

Sorry for your loss. Do you have any clue how it got stolen? Are there any cameras in that garage?

They straight ripped my passenger front window out to get in, and used some sort of computer to over run the ignition.

Wow! So bummed to hear, and now I'm paranoid! haha.. I thought Orlando thieves only targeted Hondas and Acuras. Out of 4 that i owned 3 were stolen from my driveway, which was the reason i never got one again.. Now to worry about this! Hope you get it resolved.

I'm not particularly worried about coverage, and I had a huge amount of equity in the car so once I make sure I get a fair value for my car it'll be ok. My complex massively beefed up security, which is a good thing.

On the plus side, I should have a large amount of money to put into a new Evo.

If anyone knows of a (mostly) stock 06 SE anywhere that's for sale please let me know. I found one that I will probably buy if it's still available when I am able to purchase.

Sorry to hear about your evo man. I know most of us evo owners love our cars more then anything. Good to hear you are looking to get a new one!
