Clean up hub method for no/open center caps?

I don't like the hub rust seen inside open center caps, but don't have a practical option to run them. Anyone have any tricks/pics?

Thanks

I sanded the rust off mine and then spray painted them black, I think it looks really good.

That sounds pretty good. Do you have any pics?

Yeah, I just spray the center nuts in high heat matte black.
Done.

A few weeks after I got the car, I got RPF1's (without center caps) and I noticed the rust on the hub. I dremelled it with a scuff brush to get all the surface rust off, and then wiped with WD40. Been rust free for almost a year now. (I usually wipe it with WD40 once every month or two.)
