Got my Evo finally, first thing I did was paint stuff
So I finally got my dream car, only took 11 years. Andddd since I spent all my free cash on getting it, I started with some simple mods: painting stuff! I decided to do a black and white theme, since I have a WW.

Also, hi! I've been a long time lurker, I guess this is my first *real* post.

Congrats, I too worked hard for mine- the title will be mine in 6 months. My advice to you is; take your car to evo shops only, stick to OEM fluids/parts, install short shifter, tune, don't get into trends and autocross. And stay away from coilovers- high quality springs will suffice to most. Being that 80% evo drivers ride around more than on track.

Thanks!!
Yeah, I liked it too. I had pretty much predetermined what I was going to do depending on which color I got. For the WW, I chose a white and black look mostly because it was already leaning in that direction. If I had got a PB I probably would have went black/red.
When I first got the car I had family asking me why I was painting the wheels. Around here, most people are driving beaters or newer but lower end (a lot of older grand prixs, some newer fusions, etc) and SUVs+pickups (both beater ones and nice brand new blinged out ones), so a "nice" (aluminum alloy) wheel is somewhat rare. My dad said the flat black made it look cheap, but I think the flat black with the white logo makes the eye go to the wheels more than the OEM look did.
