How to paint stuff??? :P Newbie to paint

How do you paint eyelids or a grill???
Do you have to go to a body shop, or can you do it by yourself?
Would regular primer + spray paint + clear coat do the job???

thx

I'll try krylon (pearl if I'll find it) and then clear coat.
We shall see.

I fould kar33m = Iamkar33m but no specific answer (beside painting a body kit = too much work).

You can use Kareem's how-to as a general guideline. You just have a lot less surface to paint! But the prep and paint process will be the same.

They can get you cans of spray paint in the exact color of your car, just have to match the color code on the site. Put a coat of primer on it for a base. Then paint, wet sand and repeat until its totally covered and smooth. The clearcoat and wetsand a few times until you get the shine you are lookin for. For wetsanding, get a very very fine sandpaper and dip it in water for a few minutes before sanding and keep it wet the whole time to get a smooth clear finish.
