Getting car repainted and would like to keep paint in good shape!!
Well Im fixing to get my whole car repainted and would like to take better care of the paint this time around.....my evo is black and i plan on getting a protective bra over the front end and other places that people recommend after the paint cures.
Should I do anything to the paint like waxing it or anything before i get the clear bra put on or would it not be necessary?
Any input on how you wash your evos out there that are clear bra'ed....anything special you have to do?
Thanks

definitely a good investment to get the clear bra. I got mine on my car and love it. alot of other evo owners don't like the "line" that the bra leaves, but it's barely even noticeable. As far as cleaning it after it's applied, I wash and wax my car like normal. I like to use Eagle One products because they work well. Just make sure that when you do wax / polish your car, use a microfiber cloth to remove the wax / polish. It works much better than regular cotton rags.
Yea we just got a new tint guy at my dealership and can install my clear bra...i think im gonna have him put it on my WHOLE entire car
he calls it a car condom haha!
so i dont have to change the way i wash my car due to the bra? thats good to know
thanks alot for the help
