baking headlights that are clear bra'd?

I have the clear bra on my headlights, but i want to bake and paint the insides. Would this melt the clear bra, or should it be ok?

I wouldn't take the chance it would melt and cause a mess. Don't take shortcuts

might just buy another set of headlights....or take the clear bra off. hmmm I am more worried about blacking the front badge then the headlights.

I would recommend getting the seibon front grille like I have to black it out, but that thing is the biggest pos part I've bought for my Evo to date.

i havent really seen evoX lights in person but evo 8/9 lights are very easy to clearbra DIY.

why dont you warm it up, slowly peel it off then apply it yourself later. light only kits are cheap.

I have clear bra applied to my headlights; baked mine to break them apart and to re-seal them at 185 degrees. No issues, no bubbling, no peeling. The film still looks crystal clear.

i think people are overlooking the fact that if you want to paint the insides, you'll already have the outer clear shell off anyways, so just bake the insides where you paint, but not with the clear shell that has the clear bra on it. duh! or if you mean bake as in bake to re-seal them, then just ask a clear bra installer to remove the clear bra if possible, bake your lights sealed shut and then clear bra over it again

... the lights already have clear-bra on them and you need to bake them to split them open (to remove the clear shell) since they are sealed together with silicon.

this is full of WIN! nobody is overlooking anything except you. lol....

Bro if you're really worried about it then I wouldnt attempt it. But if you're more worried about painting the inside than having the clear bra on the headlights then give it a shot, and if it messes it up then just remove it.
