Is it only on the hood or the front bumper too... Seems like it would be very difficult to get it around all those choppy curves.

Mine covers the entire front bumper, the headlights, the hood in front of the heat vent, most of the front fenders, and also the sideview mirrors.

I did not get mine at the dealership, though.

A little more info....like where you did get it would be helpful.

can it be removed later if you decide you don't want it anymore?

When I get my Evo I plan on having something called "CrystalGuard" done, along with the 3M clear bra thing. Here is a brief desciption of Crysal Guard:

CrystalGuard is such a product, and it’s in a class by itself with its unique polymerization
process. CrystalGuard combines glass and fluorine fibers to create a distinct crystal layer
of protection over the entire body of your vehicle.

It's like 400 bucks, but considering the wonderful quality of OEM Mitsu paint, I figure I'm willing to spend the money. Then I'll have the Clear Bra stuff put on after. I hate seeing paint chips and stuff on new cars. These two things should work well together.

my local tint guy will do the 3m protectant on the HIT spots for near $400. i havent done it yet, and dont really plan on it, i was just curious so i stopped by and asked. we dont get snow here, and i dont plan on doing mountain trips in my evo over the winter. the paint on my last car got really bad, si i asked the insurance people what i could do. they said pay the deductible, and they would paint it. said my premiums would only go up about 7 bux a month. i got rid of the car before i could do it, but maybe something to look into if the evo gets bad.

Thanks for the link. Here is the direct link to the Evo kit: http://www.invinca-shield.com/asp/genkit.asp?kit=3137

I used the "find distributer" link to find a local guy to install the kit. Now all I have to do is repaint my hood and front bumper first!

I sell and install it.

I would reccommend only using 3M film, and Xpel really has the cleanest and best designed kits.
It does only cover the impact prone areas, the mirrors hood fenders, bumper.
and it is completly removeable if needed, but you shouldnt need to, as it will last about 8 years.

This stuff is strong, and you dont need to worry about your paint once its on.
Tonight I will post some links to docs I have written about it.

I can get the kits and all that if you guys need them, I drop ship.
If anything I would do the headlights, its a 20 mil film that is pretty easy to put on, and it protects them from pretty much anything, if it does break something, Xpel provides a warranty where they pay your deductible for replacing them.
My site is very informative
