The opposite of show and shine---Ding an Dent

Ill start er off. Yesterday driving in my 2012 RR MR I took a bad angle at a gas station when pulling up the the pump, and hit this freking pole!!!! Here's the damage not sure what it's gonna cost me.








In three months this is my second ding, maybe i need to stick to my camry

Ouch....i have always told myself it gives the car character. I would be lying to you if I told you that you are the only person to have done something like that. Doesnt look like it would take much to fix though... Just some good sanding, mayb bondo and a good paint job. GL!!

Got back from the body shop said it's going to be 1550$. If I could pay in cash that would probably be better than turning into insurance eh?

Great thread idea!

I once let my car roll down my driveway, take out my mailbox and roll down the street as i chase after it. Apparently the ebrake wasnt pulled up enough.

Did the same thing in mine, well not at a gas station but in a garage. took the wrong angle and hit a beam...I used my insurance. but I can see how you may not want to report it and have them raise your premium.

My ex-lawncare provider hit mine in the same place with one of their mowers. Of course they denied responsibility and I couldn't prove it, so like that it stays.

I got backed into in a parking lot by someone that must have hit the gas a little hard and crammed their tow hitch into me....Unfortunately it didnt get caught on camera.

Always rough when these things happen, it's always at the worst time, they always bolt, and never leave notes. Hope it gets fixed up like new!
