Just curious as to why?

Aesthetically MR basically just has color matched hood and fender vents, chrome front bumper surround, chrome window trim, and BBS wheels.

... not much different than GSR.

 

Might be different from year to year. I have a '14 GSR color matched hood vents and no color matched fender vents...

Incorrect. 2011+ Base MR has no color matching and no chrome. Basically the same as a 2010 SE but with BBS wheels.

 

Must have changed for this year then, cause all of the 2015 MR's I looked at (including base) had color matched vents.

... either way, they both look pretty much the same then aside from wheels.

 

Yup you are correct, for 2015 they took a lot of the package offerings off the table so now the color matched bits are standard.

Although, I highly doubt it's what you are looking for as both cars are heavily modified lol. Not to mention we were clearly working on his car in this picture.
