Mixed brake pads for track days

So I ordered a set of Carbotech XP-10 pads for the front and thought about reusing my Hawk HPS+ on the rear since they have a ton of life left. Is this a bad idea? My car only has a tune(stock intake/exhaust), girodisc rotors, swift springs, and 265/35/18 Hankook RS3's all around.

I figured it would be okay since the rear brakes aren't used as much but I'd appreciate other opinions from people with more experience/knowledge.. I only plan on doing 2 tracks days this year; Autobahn in IL, and Road Atlanta.

Most guys run offset pad compounds front/rear anyways. Common with Carbotech is XP12 front, and XP10 rear. The Hawk HP+ isn't a slouch, so I'm sure you'll be good with those and XP10s up front. Like with nay thing, just make sure to feel it out before going for the W.

I ran ST43 front with Girodisc SS pads rear on track with no issues. You'll be fine with your setup for two track days.

Just don't use Motul and you'll be fine.

Prospeed RS683, Endless RF650 or Castrol SRF

I personally use Prospeed because it's close enough (perhaps the same?) as the old Torque RT700 which is literally the best brake fluid I have ever used.

Motul is garbage.

Worth every penny. You don't have to bleed your brakes after every event with it. I went about four events without bleeding on the RT700. With Motul I had to do it after every event to get the pedal feel back.
