Team D visits Work Wheels for test fit...

Meraz and I went down to meet with the guys at Work Wheel USA in fountain valley. We took the X down there to test different wheel sizes and styles. Here are some pics:

We want to run 19" wheels on the car, with the right aggressive offset. These 19X9 +25 XC8s fit, but we wanted bigger.

Here we then tried the XC8s 19X10.5 +20:

We all decided on the 19x10.5 XC8s, the +20 offset will not work however, nor will the gold. We are going with the XC8s in silver, 19x10 +35 offset with a 265/30/19 tire. It is going to look amazing.
Though they have many wheels in stock, this size was not among them. Our wheels are being air shipped from Japan and will be in our possession by the end of next week.
The car will be at progress all next week for spring and sway bar prototype and fitment. Hopefully the car will be lowered properly in time for the wheel arrival. We will then do a full photo shoot of the X equipped with the wheels, tires, and progress suspension, atleast until coilovers will be available....our X will be at Tein in 2 weeks to testfit their prototype coilovers as well. There is alot going on right now for us and our shop car. We will add any and all information as it becomes available. Our intercooler and hard pipe kits are just about done, as well as our TBE.
here are some more pictures from Work Wheel today:

a day at the shoe store:

thanks,

Shahin

someone should have placed a jack under the suspension arm and pushed it up to see how close the wheel is to the fender...
from the pics, it looks like you could fit 19x10 +20... clears coilovers?

yeah i was wondering the same thing..

why wouldn't 19x10 +20 work? it looked like it has ample clearance from the pictures.

remember, your car is lifted up so the suspension was sitting at a funny position. Even if the wheel stick out pass the fender visually doesn't mean it won't fit.

Negative camber that ****! and run stretched tires JDM style.

Just couldn't tell from the pictures how close the wheels were to the shocks.

it looks like it would from the pics, but they stick out toofar. the 19x10 +35 will be agressive and just right, and will clear all suspension. pictures will be up by next weekend, hopefully with suspension

thanks

What is the max tire size that you can fit on the Evo X with the 19X10?
