low weight 19"?

I've looked around and really like the look of 19s vs 18s on the X but I'm worried about to much unsprung weight. Any suggestions for a good looking 19 that keeps the weight about the same as the stock wheel?

The Advan RS's are the best looking of that bunch IMO.

I recommend the Tenzo R line-up.

Advan RS or RG's if they make them in 19. The TC's also look great the larger the diameter.

another thought I'm having is staying with an 18 but lowering it an inch, just trying to get rid of the gap, what are you opinions on what would look better?

I wonder how they would hold up to potholes.

a 18 where the spoke goes all the way out like the advan rs would look good with a drop. 19's aren;t that bad, hell the new gtr has 20's. some of us will remember people trippin over 17's like people do 19's now

It really depends on the quality if the wheel. If you're willing to spend the dollars, you can find 19's that weigh less than the stock Enkeis. The question is what kind of performance are you after? If you are looking to maximize grip for road racing then trading a little weight for a wider wheel (18 or 19) that allows you to run a wider tire may be beneficial. If you are strictly looking at street driving, the lighter the better since less unsprung weight will allow the suspension to work better and allow the car to accelerate faster (less rotational mass).

well i'm really not going to be too hung up on price, i figure i'm spending 35-40k on a car what's a few grand for some sweet rims and rubber, and i'm not to sure what i'm planning to do with the X. it's my first sports car coming from a jeep so i think i'll start with taking advantage of my native WV's awesome roads and maybe work my way up to the track.
