I had tein super streets on my WRX wagon. They were Ok. I know that coil overs are generally going to be a much rougher ride but this time around I will be going with a different company. Im hoping i can find a smoother set up for the mr when it is released. I live in Brooklyn and the roads are a mess. Has anyone else had a rough experience with super streets and then switched to a set up that they feelt better with?

well i want something. Stock is just too high. Im looking for something that has a similiar spring rate of the super streets. just a little better quality. I am not sure if its the dampening or what. In hear big bangs in the the rear while at slower speeds driving over ruff roads. I assume this is my suspension uncompressing all the way or is it something else. will coil overs with independent ride height adjustability which dosnt effect the the spring height fix this? or better dampening?

Was not impressed with the coilovers from Tein I had on my STI. The handling and ride was the same as the Tein springs I put on the car 1st. I do like the Eibachs I put on the X.

Forgot to mention I had EDFC with my coilovers. I drove thousands of miles and constantly changed the setting from soft to hard and could never tell the difference. Maybe there is a more obvious difference at the track with the damping force controller but I never raced it.

Maybe you have better luck with Tanabe Electric Active Suspension.
