Will be getting my X RS very soon.
Need opinion on some BBK options, appreciate your thoughts on those.
Price difference not that drastic, not really a concern between these.
AP (7040) 355mm
Alcon 365mm
Endless 370mm
Stoptech
Look forward.......

You cannot go wrong with any of them. Although, I would stick with the top 3 if I were in that situation.
If you want something that is easily available, well priced, and stop great, you should hit up Rotora. I just got them installed onto my car and I am VERY impressed with the braking. Unfortuneatly, during the install a leak was found and I was not able to put many more miles on it and took the car to the dealer.

Another cheaper option would be ATS, anyone heard of these before?
For the price of the branded front 6 pot, I can get front 6/rear 4 for ATS.

BTW, StopTech hasn't started working on a BBK yet to my knowledge..
I am a little shock to hear from the local distributor that the price is very close to the AP/Endless/Alcon

I would recomend to go with a StopTech Kit.
2 main rasons is Cost, and availability.
Replacement rotors, and pads are inexpensive compared to the other manufacture.
Also with StopTech you have a huge availability for different compounds. Where as with some of those other brands, you have to stick with the manufacture to get a replacement pad. And they might not offer a compound that you want.
This was the reason we went with them for our 08 STi.

Stoptech and Alcon both size the pistons for each specific car and either maintain stock or improve brake bias.
The rest i've never seen any data or talked with their engineers enough to see what they do. I've heard stories and seen some test results that weren't too kind though after they shift way too much brake bias to the front.
So yeah, I'd stick with Stoptech and Alcon since i know they actually engineer their products. I don't care what they look like. But it helps they look awesome.

I personally know the guys at StopTech and they make a great product, although I know it is not out for the X yet, they are working on it I believe.
For now, I will be rocking my Rotora kit..

Nice ... maybe you can sell me your Rotora kit when you get a Stoptech hahaha
Hello everyone:
I am Todd Cutter, Sales Manager of Rotora, Inc. Our Kit will be available to the public in Early July.
Daniel's Evo came out Awesome and we I am interested in his thoughts about the kit.
We will be showing the kits at the Spo Com show.
Thanks,
Todd

The STI was the car that make me want to get a new ride, saw the black version in the showroom & it was gorgeous
Don't think I can wait for the StopTech, I'll be getting my ride this week, really excited ......
The car is still something to get used to. Every time we have a customer come in with a X, I start to question if we should have gotten a X. But both cars have there ups and downs.
Mitsubishi did a good thing on the X and went with bigger brakes, where as Subaru stuck with the same size
.After one track day on stock suspension, we cooked our Brakes. So StopTech was a good solution. And best thing was, the kit from the old 07 STi's just crossed right over.
