Keep in mind the size of the rotors and the size of your wheels. Some really big rotor kits will require 19" or larger wheels.

Turbo & High Tech Performance (Sep 08) just put out an article about the Brembo GT 355 Kit and they only had .08mm clearance from the inside rim of the front wheel (Brembo recommended .12mm). A little close for comfort I'd say.

Their wheels were the Volk CE28Ns (and they didn't specify the offset) 18x9.5.

For rims, you honestly need to get a Blue print of the rims and the Brakes. And check for yourself. Ive seen 355 BBK fit over 17" rims.

BBKs

True enough. Apparently the Brembo GT kit I mentioned sticks up just shy of 2.0in off of the edge of the rotor (355mm~14in).

It would all depend on the caliper, and I don't recall seeing any specs posted out there that state how far the calipers rise off the edge of the rotors. That would be nice, but then again, they never really say how far the calipers stick off the side of the rotors either for your offset check. The brake manufacturers just tell you to do a fit test or use some darn template they post in a PDF file.

In general you want to have Track pads, and Street pads.
As street pads suck on the track, and like to catch on fire. And track pads dont like to stop on the street.

That would be ideal but too troublesome for me.
Any comment on Ferrodo DS2500?

The DS2500's are good semi track pads. They will hold up to track use, but not last long if you are a hard braker. I had a customer that got 4 sessions on those pads, do to how fast they wear under hard braking.
With that being said, the 2500's are probably the best cross over pad.
