Front camber question

Would appreciate any help on question around front camber and wheel fitment.

Have recently sold my IX and waiting on delivery of first batch of the X here in Australia (yes, we're still waiting!).

Did a lot of circuit track days in my IX, running DMS coilovers with HKS tops and Bridgestone semi-slicks. Like most of the Evo owners over here at my local track I would run 4 degree negative camber in the front.

I plan to set up my X with DMS coilovers again to do plenty of track days. I would also like to run 18x9.5 rims for track with 265/35 rubber, and +22 offset seems to be right from what I have read.

Has anyone tried how much camber they can get in the front of the X with this size rim?

Thanks again for any assistance.

Just got the shop manual and factory is -1.0 (mine is set at -1.5 now front and rears, 0 toe and caster is 4.5-4.6 (from the factory)).
I'm running 18x9 rims on stock rubber so far...no issues (not incld ride heighth....)
Hope that helps!

i think they usually go around 0 toe ,
-1.5 in front and -1 in the rear.

Mine is,if you want to know:
Camber -2.55 left front, 0 toe, 3.7 caster, and Camber-2.39 right front
Camber -1.67 left rear, 0.11 toe, and Camber-1.59 right rear

My set up is 9.5 inch rims with 22 off set, and 255 R888 toyo tires. /R compound/
i hope its helped.
I dont know how it will perform this set up , we just based it for more track oriented driving. And we will see from there.
I dont know why most guys keep the set up super secret

also my car weights without me 3354 lbs.
only the rear seats removed, and empty trunk. And virtually full thank of gas.

Thanks very much for the info. Same size rims I have ordered. In my IX we were putting in -4 camber in the front, so expect to do the same for the X.

You don't have any clearance issues with those settings?

I'm not an expert ,but -4 i think is good for the silcks or R compound only. Also that is eats your tire up very fast. I dont know if you are have a track car only.

Clearance. Nope i do not have any. But i'm running a "skinny" 255/35 tires Most of the guys are running 265 or over. i have no power yet to justify the 255 over tires yet

Thanks, and yes I only use -4 with R compounds for the track. For street driving I was running no more than -2. And good to hear there are no clearance issues.
