just installed bc racing coilovers on my evo x. i went to 2 places for an alignment and both are wearing out the washers that go in the rear wheels. i reorded 4 more and he wore those out too. he says the washers are tooo weak to handle the weight of the car when adjusting the camber/toe. he says i would have to get an aftermarket camber kit for the rear. any suggestions??

what do you mean by washers ?

 

These are my current specs ::
left front :: camber -0.4, caster 4.3, toe 0.00
right front :: camber -0.3, caster 4.1, toe 0.02
front :: total toe 0.01, steer ahead -0.01
left rear :: camber -1.2, toe 0.32
right rear :: camber -1.6, toe 0.25
rear :: total toe 0.57, thrust angle 0.03

 

your front camber should be set to 1.0

rear toe 0.11-0.13

tell your tech to adjust your rear toe by adjusting the camber eccentric bolt because when the evox is lowered you cant adjust toe using the toe eccentric bolt.

also he can raise the rear to take the load off the wheels and adjust your setup that way...its too bad your not in socal you can come down to my shop.
