Rubbing Problems =\

Hey guys,

I just got some 18x9 +25 Advan RZ wheels put on today with 255/35/18 Advan Sports...everything seemed to fit nice until I got in the car to drive back home and I went through a bumpy spot on the highway and heard some rubbing, I figured it was because I had my old set of wheels&tires in the back seat and the trunk.

So..I get home and unload em and go for a drive, it scrapes almost everytime I make a turn, the front tires don't scrape on anything, the back right tire barely scrapes...but the back left tire is scraping REALLY bad when I make turns or go through bumps on the road..it's so bad that it's ripping the sides of the brand new tire.

I'm on stock ride height and was looking to get coilovers and lower the car...but if its scraping like this on stock ride height, I dont know how I'm gonna pull off lowering the car.

What would you guys suggest I do to fix this problem? Is there any way I can fix the rubbing and still keep my setup of the RZs w/ Advan Sports?

Thanks for the help guys

Yep, the X can house much wider wheels and tires than the 9. That sucks bro, but it sounds like your real problem is that you got the wrong offset. You should've gotten more like a 30 offset and that would push the wheel a little further inside the wheel well, if there's room that is.

If you have +25 offset than you will rub. You will have to roll rear fenders

Yeah, you got the wrong offset bro. You need a +35. I bet that concave face looks really good though! Get your fenders rolled asap and u should be fine.

Should have gotten +35. That is correct size for the XIII and IX.
