I found a few threads with similar problems, but they were all old and nothing was answered. Basically there is a sqeek coming from the front passenger wheel. when the steering is past 12 o'clock to the right it will start to squeek. NOT squeel like a power steering belt squeel. more like a rickity squeeking from something not lubricated. Now I cant tell if its coming from inside the boot or from the rack itself. I lubed up the bushings on the the control arms and sway bar also. still squeeking. Are the insides of the boots lfilled with grease? is it possible for it to have dried up and how can it be serviced? Thanks guys

i have the same issue. it sounds like rubber squeeking on rubber for me. gonna take it back for that and a new reflash due to the nice bog in WOT on upper RPM and the idle.
mine was more of a metal soundings squeak. A little white lightening spray grease around the bushings fixed it.

Ok guys I know that this has been beaten to death. But i drove my car yesterday, and it had been sitting for a couple of weeks. And the front end sounded like an old chevy that had 200k miles on it with severe lack of grease to the suspension.
So I started looking to evolutionm.net for the answer. And yes after much browsing I determined that the rubber spacers had never been removed by the dealer.
I am including pics so that others can see just what they need to remove. I wish I had taken a pic of the blocks on the springs before I removed them. There are a pair of blocks on each front spring, one on the front of the spring and one on the back of the spring.
Jack the car up until the wheel is off the ground, and then just pull them out.
Maybe this will help a lot of people to better understand what the spring blocks are.

To follow up on the above post. Since removing the spring rubbers I must say the car no longer has the squeaking noise and it handles bumbs much better, And rides a lot better.

I just removed mine yesterday. No more squeak coming from the wheels and i must say the ride is a bit softer. About the handling, i haven't really pushed my car since it's been cold out and i have all-seasons. Also it seems that the car got a 1/2" drop or so now.
