Second Set of Wheels

Hey, does anyone know how much a set of X MR style wheels should go for?
I have a GSR and I'm looking to get the MR stockies for my winter set.

Maybe this is a easy question - Is there a weight difference between the two?

Any help is appreciated!

Edit - Found the weight answer:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/showthread.php?t=363952

Evo X BBS 19.5 lbs
Evo X Enkei 22 lbs

You're going to be looking at around 2K for MR wheels. If you're looking for a winter set, I would go with something cheaper.

Wrong. They are $950 per wheel, GSR are $550 per wheel. Thats dealer prices.

Yeah, 2k is what I've seen them go for on the forums. I wasn't even thinking about dealer prices. Anyway, dealer prices are !!!

Not necessarily.
I agree with you, they are nicer, and I may end up switching them later, but that's how my set up would be right now.
It kinda depends on how the winters are with the X in the snow here; if lighter or heavier is better...

Heck, you could get a set of Rotas for $7-900 and use the stockers for winter.

Personally, you want the ****tiest wheels possible for the winter since they will get ****ted out with the salt, slush and sand on the road.

I'm using the stock GSR rims with AS tires for winter here in MN (it was fine in Feb of 08 when I picked the car up) Rotas for the track, and some cheapy/crappy Disco Tire rims for DD (they get beat up pretty bad).
Let me know what you find, if nothing, I have a set of the Drag rim in 18x8 +25 from Disco Tire for the X (my DD now) that I'm looking to upgrade on (found a deal on some local advan rs 18x9). PM me with an offer-I may even del depending on where in SD you are (I;m over in Mpls). Thanks!

Sorry, not better then BBS (altho there are a couple that I would pref over them)-I meant style wise....I'm not a fan of multispoke like that, but thats just a personal call....Is BBS the same as Advan, and all the others? Or is that Enkei?
I thought there were 3 or 4 that were in bed together with one another....
