RPF1 or NTO3-M?

So far I've narrowed down my wheel choices to these two, but now Im stuck. I owned a set of rpf1's on my old acura rsx-s so I know those are great wheels, but I think evox's look better with more spokes. Well let me know what you guys think.

I run RP-F1s solely due to their low weight, given their cost. As you seem to be interested in appearance, I honestly don't see how anyone can tell you which wheel to prefer.

Im into lightweight wheels as well, thats why Im down to these two. The NT03-M are just as light as the RPF1'S give or take a pound.

the rpf is the obvious choice for its performance.but its kind of overdone.the nt03 is the better looking wheel but would be a pain to keep clean.i wouldnt run either but if i had to choose between the two i would run the nt03s.

I just looked at the wheel weights at Tirerack. As they didn't have 18" NT03-Ms listed, we'll have to settle to comparing 17x8s. It doesn't matter much, as the weight is prorated per size:

RP-F1 - 15.5lbs

NT03-M - 17.9lbs

That's a difference of just about 2.5lbs per corner! It isn't trivial.

BTW, RP-F1s in 18x8.5 weigh 17.9lbs, same as the NT03-M in a significantly smaller size (ie. 17x8). Just a FYI, if you care about weight.

RPF1 flex. I'd take the structural rigidity of the NT03M over RFP1's weight advantage anyday.

Try going straight to their site because they listed the 18x9.5 rpf1 at 18.6lbs and nt03-m at 19.9lbs. So thats roughly a pound, but dont get me wrong Im not trying to argue just saying that the weight savings is not that significant.

Neither. I dont think those wheels look good on the X. But if those are the only choices, get the NT03. They're much stronger than the RPFs.

Anyone know of a 18x10.5 other than the Volk and NT03M? NT03M is a week or two from being "in country" I'm told. To answer the question, I like both, but the NT03 is the only one with a close enough offset to work in the 10"+ width.

But they are "rotas" so you'll have to get over that stigma. and they are x10, not x10.5... if that matters a lot. They will weigh a ton more than the cast wheels in question (like 3-4# likely)
