Be prepered for a nightmare man!!! I just got my HAWK HPS brake pads installed not to long ago, and they SQUEAL like HELL!!! I tried my best to bed them in properly and it got slightly better, but the squeal was clearly still there. I even got my front rotors turned and it got a little bit better....But it's still there!!! Currently I've been driving with them for about a 1,000 miles and the squeal has mostly gone away...but then again, it's still there.....MAN!!!

Not a fan of Hawk HPS's on the Evo. Didn't work, made noise, pad material transfer.

Hawk's suck. Never had much luck and they always died VERY quickly for me. Never again.

I think it should be ok....They have pretty good stopping power I guess...But next time I'm going with something different....I've had enough of this "squealing stress." It's embarassing when I pull up at a signal during traffic hour and it sounds like "nails on a chalkboard." Fortunately, it's gotten' better...But I don't want to go through this ever again.

Eww....I Effing HATE Hwak Pads, no matter what brand they are. WORST pads you can ever invest. But, REDEVO8, when those Hawks die out, try some Project Mu - Titan Kia's or if you want a ****ing UBER Legit brake Pad, Endless - CCC-R or CCC-X. very expensive, but ****ing AMAZING pad! I have the Endless CCC-R's and my god, i couldn't ask for a better brake pad, ****'s soo smooth, no weird feeling when braking at high speed, less brake dust than any brake pad, & NO NOISE WHAT SO EVER!

I've had Hawk HP+ (NOT the HPS) on other cars, a240sx & eg civic. I've had good experience with them as for daily duty and hpde runs. They're a good deal cheaper than comparative pads like the Ferodildo's 2500, Endless ccx, & Project Mu HC+.

I'm also contemplating a new pad, and I'm leaning slightly towards the Ferdildo 2500's as they are a good all-around pad, and priced between the Hawks and the more expensive Japanese pads.

the "ferodildos" () squeak too. Squeal when it's cold. It's mostly my rears with the girodisc adapters (it got so bad I'm running the stock pads in back now). They dust like a **** too.

I run the Hawk Blues on another car. I hold my head in shame sometimes when I can hear my squeaking over a garbage truck
