HKS Hipermax 3

Just arrived today... these things look great! They feel really solid as well. Weight is heavy like the Ohlins DFV I used to have - not like the Megans and BC Racing which were pretty light.

Can't wait to try it out on the car.

No pillowball upper mounts for reduced road noise.

I almost bought these as well but since HKS currently dont offer camber plates , I opt for the Tein Monoflex

It really depend what you are looking for ... the Monoflex would probably compare better to the Hipermax Sport. Which, like you mentioned, does not have camber plates either.

These are the normal "Street" version and I am actually not looking for the camber plates or the pillowball mounts. The rubber mounts are great for daily driving... which is what my car mostly sees. Of course I'll drive this set up on track too.

HKS Hipermax III ................ 7.0 kg ............. 5.0 kg ............ 30-way .....................Adjustable
Stats from the sticky, should be accurate.

It is 200mm front, 250mm rear and ID of 65. Also includes tender springs which I do not know the spring rate of.

If you can get 1700, go for it... that is lower than I've ever seen it. HKS prices have gone up and the dollar/yen exchange rate sucks right now.
