Eibach Prokit question

I'm looking through some various lowering options including lowering springs. I've looked at a lot of pictures on this forum of Eibach springs. Claimed lowering is 1.2" f, 1.0" r.

But the pictures look a lot lower. My stock x has about 3 inches of gap in front and 2+ in the back. Most of the pictures posted on this forum make it look like the Eibachs drop about 2" front and 1+" in the back.

For those of you who have already installed them, have any of you taken before and after fender height measurements? (after springs have settled)

I would love to know exactly how much these springs actually lower the car.

Thanks.

I just installed mine last night and it is much lower then I thought. Looks great though and feels good too. Only problem I have is my front bumper scratches when I go on my driveway. So idk what to do about that. Anyone have an idea?
Also I need a alignment..
I will take some pics tomorrow and post them up so you can see.

It would be great if you could post some close up shots of the wheels/wheelwells so I can see how low it looks.

Also, can you tell me if you have the GSR or MR? The reason I ask is because if you look at Eibach's site, the exact same lowering kit says it will lower an MR front by 1.6 and GSR front by 1.2. I'm not sure if that's because MRs actually sit a little higher in the front or if there's some difference in the perch that allows MRs to be lowered more.

They definitely drop the car more than they're rated for. I think they were probably rated 1.2"F and 1.0"R to begin with, and then once installed, they actually dropped the car more than that. Since the MR springs are the exact same part number, but advertised as 1.6"F and 1.0"R, they probably just re-rated them. They're closer to that than the original rating.

As far as lowing springs go, I think the Eibach's have the perfect stance

Not the greatest pictures to compare, but here's my before and after:

The drop is definitely more than 1.2" and 1" but I didn't measure before/after. It's on the low side for the spring options out there, but I think it looks and feels great.

Looks good! They do tend to settle also after a few days you should see another quarter inch or so.

OT, since eibach sells the springs, As well as a separate strut, would the combination of using their springs and their struts be the same as buying the kit they sell with both. or is it different parts. I've heard a lot of horror stories about people blowing out the stock struts within 10k miles.

Thanks for the pictures. The drop looks great. That definitely looks like it drops more than 1.2 in the front.

my shocks are done at 26000km in the front, don't know if it had something to do with the springs or not.

Probably as the factory shocks should last longer than 16,000 miles.

Eibach doesn't sell struts for the Evo, just springs, or coilovers

Their springs were designed around stock struts
