Replacing stock tires

Is it ok to just replace 2 worn out tires with new ones? My front tires are worn out more then rear and I can get fairly good used ones for dirt cheap.

I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about having more than 2 or 3 percent difference in diameter front to rear because of the hell you'll be giving the transfercase/center diff.

I have been able to buy the advan a13's as take-offs for about $110 each on average and there are enough in socal with the popularity of bigger wheels and such on imports.

be sure to be a little more on the ball with those rotations next time- awd cars are a 4 tire at a time affair.

100% true. If the overall diameter of your tires are noticeably different, you need to get all 4.

the drawback of owning awd cars is you must replace all tires.
gl finding used tires with the same diameter.
