I have had Stance coilovers on multiple personal cars. From RSX's to WRX's which I currently have. I have the GR+'s on my 2002 WRX currently and love them. As long as you get the correct spring rate that suits your driving you will have a blast.

If your just going to be doing normal street driving, I recommend the 8k combo so its not too stiff but good enough to hit the corners.

Let me know if you need anymore information, I can give you all the info in the world and the best price

Lots of people in the 240sx community use them with great results, I cant say I know much about Evo applications though. I would buy them.

I've been on GR+Pro SSD for a while now and they are too stiff for what you want (daily driver). Get the GR+ (like maperformance recommended).

TougeFactory has been super good about any questions I've had and have really helped me get them setup correctly (as I'm still doing).

+1 for Stance. Great coilovers for the price. I had some problems setting them up properly but that has more to do with my technical inexperience than the coilovers themselves. I don't remember how NYC roads are and I don't imagine them to be great, so I would opt for lower spring rate than the default 10k/9k and not lower your car TOO much so you can have softer dampening settings

if you are looking for something mainly for street / daily driven car....

Look into the LX+ line. Extremely smooth, even on some of the worst roads (*cough* chicago roads *cough*)

You can have the same adjustability for ride height like the GR+ or AL+ but the valving in the dampers are geared towards comfort and streetability with occasional auto-x fun!

STANCE LX+

I would get the GR+ Plus as Adam Stated, and for extra softness you can get the helper springs as backup.

The recommended helper springs would be Swift.

I have the GR+ Pro SSD's and they're definitely not too stiff. I like them a lot. Much better than the Megan's I have on my RSX.

not to thread jack, but 12/14 aren't too stiff for people that want the stiffness... for for a daily driver that rarely sees the track, they are complete overkill and will make you hate your car.

New York City streets are horrible, i kid you not, people put garbage cans inside some poholes so cars dont colapse inside them. My friend was almost killed on his sportsbike last year with a hole like that.
Thanks for the help guys, and they are rebuildable correct?
