My alignment numbers-Help please!

I had my alignmnet at Pepboys in Fontana, CA recently since I knew it was off and they were the only ones who said they can do a 4 wheel drive alignment.
I have not messed with my suspension yet, Evox MR (number in () is the before alignment number)

front: caster L: 4.2 (4.2) r 4.8 (4.7)
camber l -1.0(-1.0) r -1.0(-1.0)
toe l 0.00(0.00) r .05(-.05) total .05(-0.05)

rear camber l -0.9(-1.0) r -1.1(-1.1)
toe l 0.15(-0.05) r 0.20(0.40) total 0.35(0.35)

thrust angle 0.00 (-0.2)

Is this right for street driving.

Thanks

My car still pulls a little to the right. I will check mytire pressures later today though.
On the stick above it says:toe 0.07 fronts and 0.06 the rear. That's why I asked.
Thanks

I think you have too much toe in in the rear.

The pulling to the right could be the crown of the road... plus the toe in the front is not set 100% to 0.

I would have them recheck it and get the toe up front correct and verify the toe in back (again, I think it's too much). They might have to start the car while it's on the rack because when the steering rack is powered up, it can drift (mine does and now the alignment tech always gets it close, then turns the car on and fine tunes it).

Also, how heavy are you? Your weight can cause the car to drift if you're heavy (think > 200#). Also your tires, depending on what they are, can tramline. Star Specs are really bad about it.

Pep Boys is NOT an appropriate place to go for an alignment.

Also, there is no special alignment needed for AWD vehicles... anywhere can do a 4 wheel alignment on our cars. There is nothing special about it.

Here's the specs from the manual. Your right rear toe is marginal, but still within spec. I would be more worried if left / rear are widely off. Caster on our cars are fixed.

Toe
Front 0 ± 0.07 inch
Rear 0.12 ± 0.08 inch
Camber
Front −1°00’ ± 0°30’ (Left/right deviation within 0°30')
Rear − 1°00' ± 0°30' (difference between left and right within 0°30')

Interesting tidbit in the manual:
After performing the front wheel alignment, perform a cali¬bration for the ASC-ECU to learn the steering wheel sensor neutral point. (Refer to GROUP 35C − On-vehicle Service, Steering Wheel Sensor Calibration P.35C-267.

To be honest everything looks good except for the front caster. A good rule of thumb is to never have more than .5 of a degree side to side variation. I don't know if there even is a caster adjustment on the evo X to be honest, but if there is I would have them adjust it. Have you ever been in an accident? Thats some kinda crazy caster numbers for being stock never wrecked, especially if there isn't any adjustment for caster. Although, looking at your numbers, it looks like the car should pull more to the LEFT, because the car will pull to the side with the least amount of positive caster, taking no other things into consideration. Also, looking at lowkeys manual quotes, it doesn't look like there is an adjustment for the caster.

Would the alignment numbers change if you have aftermarket coilovers? I just installed mine today and have an appointment tomorrow morning for an aignment.

Thanks guys
I will have it checked again.
All my tires are set at 34 psi pressure, they are the Star specs Dunlops. Since I have paid the Pep boy guys, I will have them try it one more time.

If you are going to take it back, see if they can get your rear toe a little more straight ahead. Just a tad of rear toe is probably better for tire wear.
