9.0" vs 9.5" width is .5" a big diff?

9.0" vs 9.5" width is .5" a big diff?

There's a set of wheels I want to get but they don't do the half size in between 9 and 10 for that particular design Work XD9 in 18". They only list 7.5 , 8.0, 9.0, 10.0. At least they have a proper offset that will fit on the Evo X without rolling fenders and that is 18x9.0 +20. I want to know if the .5" width size make a difference in looks and flushness when compared to 18x9.5 +20? I believe that if i went with the 18x10 +18 I'll have to roll the rear fenders.

I think 18x9 +20 looks better than 18x9.5 +20 if your car is stock height. If you're lowered and can run more negative camber, then the 9.5 looks better.

Is your car stock height? If it's stock height you will clear 18x10 just fine with the right offset, it should clear with a 18x10 +20 at stock height and even modest lowering on 255's. If you want to run like a 265 or 275 on a 18x10 you will need to roll the rear fenders.

I plan to only use these wheels in the summertime while being slammed around 1.5-2" lowered but probably 1.5" more likely and run some negative chamber up to 2-2.5 degree

If I do get XT7 I'll go with the 18x9.5 +20 on 265/35/R18. You think that concaveness of the XT7 will look sick?

Realistically, going from a 9" to a 9.5" wheel is only a difference of a ¼" on each side of the wheel. When the it's installed on the car, you'd probably never be able to tell the difference given the same offset.

I personally like the XT7 with the concave face and spokes that touch the edge of the rim, but that lip on the XD9 does look sick

Darkside mentioned somewhere here in the boards that the xD9 will not clear the brembos, so it's the xT7s for for X owners.

You could get the XC8s...i think their version of hyperblack in this wheel looks pretty good:

The new 11c look pretty good also..I think these are 18 x 9.5 +30...they offer +20 offset:
