They are louder than the stock tires. The compound is very soft. It's definitely a performance tire.

Well, can't wait to try them. One thing for sure, the treadwhere is agressive. That's should be good.

Resurrecting and old thread here...

To those of you who are running Invos, what tire pressure are you running? I'm running 32/32, and notice that I'm rolling onto the sidewalls when I get playful. Thinking about going out and putting a couple more pounds in each tire to see if that helps.

i had a set for street driving only, lasted 8k miles. i liked the tires, and will admit i tend to drive pretty hard. i never launched on them, did accelerate hard quite often though. was surprised they only lasted 8k miles, thought they would have lasted a little longer.

^ Thx for the observation! I ran my OEM Advans like that, got about the same, comparable driving style at least from reported.

If I hadn't tracked my Dunlop Z1's five days, I bet I would have gotten another 2-4K out of them. As it was, they lasted over 10K but still had decent tread depth, over 1/4" easily. The right tires were cut up pretty bad (I rotated F-R, not L-R at the track) and corded from over-driving them at the HPDEs. I'm debating another set of those Z1's, would just prefer to have a set of real track tires ready to go along side them for those special weekends.

mrMTB I run about 35-37 around town to help keep the tread nice.

I have a set of 275/35 Invo's on my car, they're a good all around tire and will last longer than the NT05's or similar tire. They performed better than I thought they would at the track and I've been very happy with them for daily driving. If your car spends more time on the track than on the street, I'd say go with the NT-05's, if not, go with the Invo's.

Edit: the sidewall on these tires is pretty soft and you'll have to run a more pressure if you're running them at the track, I can't remember what PSI I had durring my last track day though....high 30's I beleive.

Nitto is a great tire, I had Neo Gens on my STi. Quiet, stuck pretty good. It was even good in snow.

Goofygrin, how do you gauge these Invos in terms of stickiness/stiffness/hang-on during your tracking and Xing to the OEM's that you probably tore up fast? How about treadlife?

I miss my Invo's

Right now I am on Blizzak's. I don't know why I got snow tires for Jersey. Everyone who said to get snow tires here is only preparing for one or two days of real snow It was fricken 60 degrees today. I can smell my snow tires burning away...

Thanks for the feedback. I upped the pressure to 36, and its a noticeable difference in the initial turn in on the street (which felt very loose @32 lbs).

I don't have invos, I have the NT05's. I was just telling Matthew that I run high pressure on the street.
