Ferodo DS2500 on Girodisc 1 piece slotted all way around with girodisc anti noise shims. no squeaking sound issues yet. So much cheaper than stock.

The X is HEAVY. You need a better pad.
of course hp+ is a better pad. it's not even made for street. it's dustier too, which is a deal breaker for me unfortunately. if i wanted dust i could have sticked with the stock pads.

On the street I do not see any difference from the stock pads (also ferodos BTW). I am yet to autocross/track. The DS2500 is the middleground pad. The 3500 is for track only and lousy for DD. the 2500 is designed for people who want to avoid pad changes whenever they need the performance. People more particular abt racing performance usually run a street setup with cheaper pads, and swap them out for high performance when on the track. With the 2500, you can avoid this.

The 2500 is only a track pad if you don't push the car. If you're going to be tracking hard or frequently you WILL need a dedicated track pad... the X is simply too heavy otherwise.

I now because I cooked the hell out of a set of DS2500's

Changed to Ferodo DS2500, and to my surprise the stock pads were also stamped with Ferodo logo as well! Didn't know that mitsu used Ferodo pads.

Got mine from Girodisc. I had 19,000 miles on mine and stock pads were worn out about 3/5th of the thickness compared to the DS2500.

tell uxs where you got them from so people can start buying them and give more comment on them endless. I see more hawks pads being advertised for sale than endless.
