anyone have any experience with these performance wise they seem to do everything else just want to make sure they are good for spirited driving maybe an event or to?

Ill be ordering these this week. I was considering the eagle gt's but these look like they are getting better reviews and ratings. Discount tires direct has the best price match tire prices and free shipping.

I have had some time to ask Conti about their new tire and alot of people are fired up about it in a good way. Performance , thats eye of the beholder. When Tire rack did a show down this tire held its own in an overall ranking. And blew everyone away in Wet conditions. the upcoming Winter results should equally be impressive.
C reber your right, its not the best Dry tire in the world. but the fact that once it gets a little wet, it doesnt let ya down is still worth its weight in gold
Plus i am sure some guys might have fun trying to burn it away on the track.

I just bought a set on tire rack today, will let you know what i think of them. I mostly bought them because a.) winter is approaching and it's averaging 40 degrees around where i'm at which can make the summer tires unsafe when cold. b.) it's been raining a lot.
I'm not looking for dry performance, just a good set of all seasons to get me though the cold and light snow that i'll see around here when winter is in full swing. A buddy of mine crashed his evo8 driving in the snow with his summers, not trying to do that to my car and the all seasons i'm sure will be worth the investment.

My Experience
Put these on my car about 6 weeks ago. Stock size, here's my take:
Great overall tire. They're definitely a softer sidewall than the stock Yokos, (duh!,) which was really noticeable the first corner I dove into, you could almost feel the sidewall rolling over, which was a little disconcerting until I got used to it.
Much quieter than the stock tires, but I think I had some odd wear on one, as I got an alignment done at the same time and I had toe in that was out of spec on the right rear side.
In the wet, they seem to do pretty well, but honestly, for my daily driving, the Yoko's didn't do bad either. The one thing that I did notice, and maybe it's just me being hyper-sensitive, is that they seem to hydroplane pretty bad in standing water. For instance, if you are going down the road and just one side hits standing water at highway speeds, you can almost feel it slip a little/tug the car. In all fairness, this is my first AWD car that controls everything electronically, so I don't know if it's more of a aspect of the awc or the tires, but it feels a little odd.
Overall, they seem to be a great tire for the money, and I'd definitely buy them again, especially when you factor in price.

Have these on my car to....Seem to do well in wet I have never felt hydroplaning. Yes when doing hard cornering in the dry you can feel the sidewall rolling over a bit but overall grip is pretty good for all seasons.
I've driven these in the rain and they are awesome!! But like everyone has said here, they can't corner like the Yoko's..But I have yet to find an all-season that can. I ran sumitomo tires last winter..but this winter I feel a little more confident with the Conti DWS. For the price I don't think you can find a better tire for the price.. Good luck!!

No offense to anyone, but that's not a winter tire... It might be an acceptable tire for the winter but it's nowhere near a snow tire...
A snow tire has to have mini channels (we call them "Lamele") no idea how to translate it... But ohwell, here's a look of the thread pattern of a street tire that's going to work in the snow.
