285/30/19 Front Rubbing

hello!

my setup is:
ADVAN RS-D 19x10 +25
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 285/30-19

all fenders were rolled.
Rear is good, no rubbing at all
Front rubs on turns, no not the fenders. tire rub on the inside plastic. Yes it was heated and punched but still
is it safe to remove the inside plastic/vents??

I would just set your front camber to -2.5 or something to clear it during corners. No need to remove plastic anything

To maintain the same overall diameter you needed to get 275/30/19s, so it's a bit larger now which is causing your problems. But to answer your question, I would NOT take out the plastic liner as it protects things such as your oil cooler, oil cooler lines, an on MRs...the tranny cooler.

probably the best solution is to run 275/3019s as the poster above mentioned. wheels are a bit too big

Wrong. He's hitting the fender liner when turning.

I have the same issue. Sounds horrible.

You have the wrong size tire, but even a 275 will likely rub.

I'm running 275/30/19 +25 Potenza RE 05As on Advan RZs. My car is lowered with AST coilovers. It clears easily in the back and by a very slim margin in the front. I'm prety sure anything wider or taller would not clear without some fender adjustments.

offset of the wheel will make a big difference. 18x10.5+15 means stuff is is pushed out pretty far

Thank you all
I knew i shouldn't go for 285
camber is already adjusted to -1.5 as I remember...
I am going to try heating and punching the vents to clear more space...
or maybe just leave it its just a sound

btw, I dont know how to hide the inner plastic after rolling the fenders, its ugly its just hanging there lol!!!

mine rubs a wee bit but not enough to bother me. I have 275/30/19 on 19x10.5 +12. Camber is at -1.5 all around. Didnt want to go any higher since its a DD and im not trying to buy two sets of tires every year.

I am so curious about this since im planning on running 19 x 10.5 +22 with what I was hoping 285s in the spring. Lowered on yet to be determined coil overs

i'd get 275s, they require less camber and their easier to get to fit. but people have made 285's work.

I just got my Advan RZ. I'm running a 19x10 25mm offset. I have Hankook Ventus V12 EVO275/30 19. I clear the back pretty easy, but my front is rubbing against the same plastic durring turns. I also noticed that without a spacer, I'm getting a very small amount of contact againt my BC coilovers on the front end inside lip. Any advice besides going to a 265 or changing to a different brand of tire.
