Ordered some entry level suspension parts

So last year I had my IX and I was much more into straight line performance but trying to keep driveability to the maximum but the car was just pushing too much power to drive it around corners in anything but dry roads. The only suspension mods done to it were MR Bilsteins and Espelir GT springs and an aggressive alignment.

With my X, I'm taking a different route. I've decided I will take much more effort in making the car turn than make it go fast so here'a s list of parts I'll start with.

- H&R Lowering Springs (it was either H&R or Eibach because they have TÜV homologation)

- Whiteline 27mm Front Sway Bar
- Whiteline 27mm Rear Sway Bar

- Goodridge braided brake lines

- Racing Brake ET500 Front + Rear pads for Auto-X

- Racing Brake ET900 Front pads for track days

- Motul RBF600 brake oil

This is what I'm starting with. All of the items listed are a product of me bugging SmikeEvo a whole lot and him being the most helpful person ever. THANK YOU SMIKEEVO

I'll update this thread with what my impressions of the car after it's all installed and I'm taking it to the first auto-x event which is on the 26th of March!

Can't wait

Haven't heard much on the H&R springs but I know that make good products. I would love to see what they would look like on a X.

Good buy. Where did you pick up the springs? I was told all stock of H&R springs in the United States was sold.

I'm getting my stuff from Maperformance. If however H&R's aren't available in the USA, it's not a problem since I'm from EU and H&R is German... It's sad though that I have to buy stuff that's made 300 miles away from me from the USA and get it 30% cheaper...

MaPerformance needs to update their website. I've come to find out recently that they sell a lot more parts than what they have listed on their site. I've been searching for H&R springs for a month now.

Actually it took me two cars (evo 8, evo 9) to figure that power isn't everything... I'm still getting a proper tune with minimal power mods but the point is I really don't think I'll go over 330whp much even in the long run.

Some nice bushings, a roll center kit and a bump steer correction kit would also be a great bang for the buck. Looks like you're on the right path though!

There's no bump steer kit for the X as of yet from what I know, I'm still debating on getting the whiteline front roll center kit ...
