Also, at full lock, my front wheels come within millimeters of the fender liners. If I had 275s, I'm sure they would rub the liners.
1. Youre totally right. After doing research both here and Nasioc (since I had an STI), Dunlops are the only brand that run wider than their printed size.Originally Posted by macPSU
Note that the sizes of different brands can run differently though, so a 265 Dunlop Direzza Star Spec is about the equivalent of a 275 Nitto NT-05.Also, at full lock, my front wheels come within millimeters of the fender liners. If I had 275s, I'm sure they would rub the liners.
2. Most of the aggressive wheel/tire applications for the Evo X only require rolling the rear fenders (which i dont mind, since I have a roller). The front liners only need a few zip tires to cure the minor rubbing.
3. Your car looks amazing as it sits, but Im steering away from tire stretch. Im most likely going 275/35/18.

Wow. Maybe we should all just stop coming to EvoM since google.com can ideally answer all our questions/requests.
What a Fail.
Anyway. Very nice pics.

Not all Dunlop tires run wide, so be careful about which tires you choose. I have 275 dz101's on my 18X10 advan rg2's and they are a bit stretched. Once the dz101's are toast (should be after a couple more track weekends) I'll be buying star spec's, which notoriously run wide. I'll post a pick of the dz101's when I get home from work today.
