Question about stock springs on GSR
I tried the search function but it returned too many unrelated results and I couldn't find what I was looking for.
I was wondering what kind of springs are on a stock 2008 EVO X GSR? Are they Eibachs? I know they are Eibachs on the MR but would it be the same for the GSR?
The reason I ask is that I changed the springs in my car over the weekend and the springs on the car were Eibachs. I was a bit confused because I bought this car new and I thought it was only the MRs that had the Eibachs. I also looked at some pics of the stock MR setup and it appears the springs are red, mine were black. The part number on the spring doesn't match the Pro-Kits and when I compared mine to pictures of other stock GSR springs, it appeared that my spring had more coils and I didn't see the Eibach stamp on the pictures I found. I could've been tripping though because I was really tired. Another reason I'm asking is because my car has always sat lower than other stock EVO Xs and other X owners would swear I have some aftermarket setup.
So in summary, are the stock springs for the GSR made by Eibach? If so, my car probably sits lower because the struts are no good.

I have no idea who makes the OE GSR springs; it could be Eibach. What numbers are on them?
As to blown KYBs lowering the car ... yes, the fronts are high-pressure monotubes, but even when degassed the car won't sink much. Is the car still level? The odds of them all blowing and/or the swaybars keeping the car level when one is blown is also pretty low.

As to the blown shocks, I was half-joking. I've ridden on a car with blown shocks before (not an EVO) and I doubt my shocks are blown, but I'm not a specialist. It's a little lower, but evenly, all the way around. For example, before I took the mystery springs out, it was about 2 finger gap in the front and one in the back. To give reference, I measure a more than 3 less than 4 finger gap on the front and a 2 finger gap on the back of other stock EVO Xs, if memory serves me correct.
