couple of evo x coilover questions & buying suggestions

To adjust your average full coilovers im aware that u have to raise/lower the bottom perch to adjust the ride height and the top 2 perches should stay untouched once the desired preload on the spring is set.

question 1) do the coilovers have to be removed to adjust ride height? (or partially removed) im assuming they have to be reomved because the shock body is threaded along with the bottom perch unless theres different coilover designs out there

question 2) if the coilovers have to be removed are there any other brands that dont require coilover removal and are easy to adjust ride height? such as tanabe?
http://www.directtuning.com/store/pc...14-tanabe.aspx )

im looking for coilovers that are easy to adjust ''properly'' that i can raise in the winter and lower when the season is over and i dont want to be bothered with constantly removing them.

thanks,
lvis

the coil overs do not need to be removed for hight adjustment. you just need to adjust a caster or camber i forgot wich one after. But you need to do it one of those. If you marked them or write down the turns its not that difficult i guess..
I never did it myself though.

He's correct. You do not have to remove really any coilover to adjust height. Jack up car, remove wheel, adjust perch with hand if you've been working out or use the spanner wrench they all come with.

But you need an alignment after each ride height change which is why it's not recommended to play with it all the time.
